Today was the worst day i had in a veryyyy long time... I emoed whole day at home and will continue doing tat l8er. haix. And i cant even go to this bbq that RIV is organising :( sux...

Oh well, rants aside, lets get to the main post. Hopefully i can go lan or b ball tmrw with the usual few lol.

Summary/spoiler:

Ok, so the show begins with this guy called gulliver, who is a guy in the mailroom for a while teaching a rooke the art of the mailroom. Gulliver is the kinda guy who is all talk but no play. Ok so he does some stuff, emos and accidentally has to write a composition for Darcy after a failed attempt to ask her out. The fail-in-life guy has no talent so he copies essays of the internet. Darcy is so impressd with those that she assigned him to an assignment in the bermuda traingle.

Ok, so he goes there and gets sucked into this whirlpool that transport him to the land of small pple. He wakes being tied up by small pple and is held prisoner. He has to do hard labour for them and breaks free during one time when theres a fire in lil pple land. So he saves the day by peeing and becomes their hero. The lil pple worship him and rebuilts the city in his image.

Even when he found the boat so he can go home, he wunt cuz Darcy's pissed at him and this place is so cool. evntually, one guy got this robot and kicked his ass, banishing him to some land where pple are bigger than him :0

so he stays there as a doll 4 a girl giant until he learns that darcy is captured by the lil pple too :0. So he goes back, saves the day and goes home with Darcy

Its a love story baby just say~

Ok:

So the movie was RATHER funny... it wasent extremely funny like rapunzal where you'll spent the whole movie with ure stomach aching. But it was still quite funny. Also, its one of those better movies where not all of their highlights are in the trailer.

So, when u watch the movie, it actually has a refresing parts. Yep. the plot was bullshit for obvious reasons; its based on a folklore most pple already know more or less abt.

The acting was decent, but then again most movies hav actors that are decent. ITS HOLLYWOOD :0

There is almost no character development but hey, its a comedy! screw char development :D

ok, so its a rather good comedy. The funny parts are rather funny but not TOO funny.

So, continuing with the list of food, (during lunch time lol)

3. Wanton mee stall at Rivervale mall

This could be 1 of of the most unhealthy and yet delicious wanton mee stall i know lol. A large majority of their sauce for the noodle consists of Lard and arh... "Pig oil" which can clog your arteries and kill u xD. But, also because of this, the noodle is really extremely

香. The noodle is really smooth and chewy and arh, the meat is marinated with this delicious Char Xiew sauce. Oh, and the fried wanton served is also extremely tasty.

4. Cheese Fries from the western stall @rm

The fries is deliciously fried and, in my opinion, in better condition than KFC's one. The cheese has a really cool flavor. It's has that delicious cheese fragrance plus a sort of sweetness that complements the taste really well. Then theres the mayonaise which is like icing to the cake. It provides a slight sour taste that all cheese fries need :D.

5. Grilled Brawn from Tomato Express.

Aw this is freaking awesome. The grilled prawn is crispy on the outside and sorta soft on the inside, it has all the 香ness of butter and the grill haha. It is served with aglio olio Spaghetti which makes everything better

Well, just a quick post b4 im off 2 bed.

Anyways, emoness aside, Tday's MELFZ Gathering was freaking awesome. We watch Gullivers Travel together (which i will be reviewing (un-professionally/based on my own opinion) when i have time) before heading off to Mindy's house to talk about The New Year and get pwned in wii xD. The food during lunch was rather nasty though. I had hong kong style cream fish rich and, well... lets just say the rice didnt go that well with the cream fish...

Hmm... With a prospective less nerdy way of spending dec 31 counting down to the new year, I tink i gotta finish "the year thus far asap"! gonna work on it now lol...

Haha im at home watching tv on boxing day while no one is online :( so bored....

Well that was one sucky christmas. I spent the day cooped up at home all afternoon after spending a morning at home and lunch outside shopping for FEMALE CLOTHES (the horror). :(

So, well thats pretty much it. It was sorta fun in a christmas-family-way but still sorta sucky...

So arh, this is basically some really deicious food i can remembed off the top of my head :)

In no particular order,

1. Corona BBQ Chicken Rice

This food is srsly tasty. The BBQ chicken is packed with spices and this special sauce while the chicken itself is grilled nicely until the skin is so crispy. It's awesomely tasty lol

2. Hokkien Mee at Compass Point

Once again, the sauce is really special and awesome haha.

Yup, the awesome 2 顽皮( sry I cant tink of anything else that is related to 2p the name itself). It's been an 2 years with u all and I'm really sad to be off to a different class :(. Although I did not really appreciate my class for wat it was at the beginning of the year, I've come to realise that everyone in the class is really cool and, well, Cool yea (sorry emotional/sappy aint my style). I'm proud to say I was in the best class of Sec 2'2010 (in my opinion, so no offence to anyone who might be offended :)). Hope we stay good friends even if we are in different classes next year xD

Melfz:

This year might not have been the best year, cuz everyone was busy and we did not really like go out a lot... But. hmmm well, actually mindy summed this one up quite nicely so im just gonna rip x) .sry

been kinda bzy these few days with crazy tests and projects and what not so this post is kinda like a laggy one from sunday. yeah. just gonna make this quick while my poster dried =)

ok. So, the movie was good in the sense that it had those flashy action things and a cool? plot. though at the same time it sucked compared to the book...

1. in some frenzy bid to shorten the book or to just make it more flasy?, the people rewired the entire frigging plot so it changed from saving his mom in the underworld and in the process retrieving the lightning to finding 3 magical pearls which in the book was given to him by naiads

not necessarily a negative change, just not particuliarly well received by those that have read the books. like me =)

I was going home during the exact rush hour( approx 6.00 + to 7.15?) and just caught up with the LRT. So I went to this door at the LRT ( i was at the front) and went in when the door opened. Then, because there were SO many people behind me, they were all pushing to get into the LRT and so, yeah, I made contact with a lot of bodies. Oh, and to exacerbate things, i was surrounded by working women so i got pushed against butts, boobs *shudder*

Err, and the ironic thing is, the other LRT door was completely empty and there was this friggin open space there?

Whats their problem arh ( the guys behind)? I mean, why can't u be more flexible and just go to the other frigging door? its not like its going to make a diff to when you exit the place...

plus, on the LRT, everyone was like jostling around, as if everyone was no already packed tighter than a can of sardines!

Today Im going to rant about... guess wat?

When I say( or write), private schools, I dun mean like some random obscure school you never ever heard off, I meant schools that are... arh ... not government schools. I shouldnt mention names; dun want them to sue me or anything

Private schools. Just because your not a government school doesnt mean your some seperate entity in your own control, rite? you still have to take MOE exams and what not...

So,

1. Why the heck do you have to rearrange the syllabulbs... We have to buy so many books and waste so much money to buy so many just so you can pull out a few stuff from the books each and compile them into a year's worth of lessons. Just follow the other schools la.

Some of you might say: " o, if they did this they will be no better than the other government schools". Well, you can give more information about the topic if u like and anyways, the end result is always the same: An O/A level Cert with an exam that is standardised across the level... so help the economy( is it?) and just follow the book syllabulbs la

2. Yeah, this is the main part man. CCAs. Yeah, Co- Cirricular Activities. They seemed to have forgotten about the Co part ( forgive me if i wrongly insult some schools, im talking abt mine). U stuff the CCA into so many days of the week that we have litle time to do anything else.

MON: CCA
TUES: 3rd LANG
WED: CCA
THURS: CCA
FRI:CCA

Thats like home at abt 7 and barely enough to study. As nerdy as that sonuds, who doesnt want to do well and look forward to a bright future ahead of them

And weekends... What happened to the big Speech PM made abt family time etc. Why the heck do you put ccas in weekends??? Isn't it like illegal??? Aren't they suppose to be days for us to R and R? As it ends up we spend all our lives in school and far from being enriched, we are being deprived of the social activities that we normally engage in on weekends. Cmon men... weekends?

anyways, had a really disasterous incident in the MRT 2day. I bought a gulp from the RJC 7-11 and took the MRT with it. Guess what happened?

Nothing!!!

Well, until the end of the trip that is. I was about to alight when the ****ing cap spilled and the whole bloody gulp spilled on the floor!!! I was damn paiseh la. I didnt know what to do so I just walked out with the empty can. Apologies to anyone I may have spilled the gulp on and the MRT staff and the poor RGS girl whom I believed had a "shoeful" ><

I mean, sure its easy to pass, but, like 2day, when we were playin full court, the ball keeps getting stolen when i passed it. Like, I threw the ball and as it arced towards the floor, it was stolen. Also, I dunno exactly how far in front of the driving player to pass. like, id its too far front, he cant catch it and itll be an out. If its too back, then he will have to run back get it, hence wasting time.
